Akay Akaev is an artist working in the field of painting, graphics and spatial installations. Lives and works in Prague,
Czech Republic.
In 1982-1986, he studied at the Dagestan Art School named after Cemala (http://dhurd.ru/usl_priema.html), where he received academic training in the field of drawing and painting. In the period from 1986 to 1997, he continued his professional and personal formation at the Dagestan School of Oriental Martial Arts "Five Sides of the World"(https://5storonsveta.ru/), combining training and teaching practice. The experience of Eastern philosophy, movement discipline and internal concentration had a significant impact on further artistic thinking.
